Corey Clement Injured in Off-Campus Incident
The nightmare season of 2015 continues for Wisconsin football running back Corey Clement.

Wisconsin running back Corey Clement suffered a right hand injury during an off-campus incident Sunday, the school said in a release. When Clement joined the dispute, things got physical, and the statement said Clement and the security guard were then assaulted, causing the injury.
A team spokesman said it was too early to say whether Clement would face team-related discipline since the police are still investigating.
But Clement admitted he was not yet at 100 percent, and he didn’t even travel for the Badgers’ most recent game, a win over Maryland. Clement stepped in to the dispute. Clement went to help and the individuals assaulted both him and the security guard, leaving Clement with a cut hand.
Clement was supposed to take the reins in the Wisconsin run game this year after almost rushing for 1,000 yards in a reserve role behind Melvin Gordon last year, but the season was over before it even started for Clement after he was injured two days before the season opener against Alabama in practice.

Due to an ongoing police investigation into the matter, Clement, head coach Paul Chryst and the Wisconsin Athletic Department will have no further comment on the incident.
