Corey Feldman responds to the backlash to his ‘bizarre’ Today Show performance

Corey Feldman has had an incredibly tough time recently between the HUGE news about his former best friend Corey Haim allegedly being raped by an A-lister and his controversial performance on The TODAY Show! “And I’m sorry, but we just wanted the world to know, like, we’re really freaked out over this and it’s really not fair”.

As People Magazine reported, a deleted Facebook Live session saw the 45-year old and one of his Angels, Courtney Anne, slam their critics in a heartfelt video as Feldman sobbed.

But what really caught us about Feldman’s forays into music and career-required skateboarding was his stance.

“[The girls] were thrilled”. “We put ourselves out there and we did the best that we could”. They’re all looking at me like I’m insane. Unfortunately, nobody seemed to like what I did. And, like, I’ve never had such mean things said about me. “Like, “The wrong Corey died” or ‘Why don’t you just go OD?'” “People can be so awful and mean online and it can BREAK you.do you, f- everyone. those people have never performed on the today show.it’s easy to sit at a computer and talk s-.it’s not easy to perform in front of millions. keep your head up. normal is BORING”. And then how would everybody feel?

“Going into anything, you’re going to have some people love it and you’re going to have some people hate it and that’s OK …”

Despite the backlash, Feldman believes he succeeded and is proud of his performance. “We have gotten a lot of interest”, he explains. At the end of the day it’s success.
