LAS VEGAS Rene Angelil, Celine Dions husband and manager, has died at his suburban Las Vegas home, authorities said Thursday. I have to feed him three times a day.
“He’s being a dad at the house, which I’m really happy about”, she told a news conference in Montreal. When you have family around I think it helps tremendously.

Dion and Angélil married in 1994 and had three children together.

She even had their three children helping with his medical care, feeding him and holding the tube she administered as he was no longer able to eat properly.
“When you see someone who is fighting so hard, it has a big impact on you”, she said at the time.
Initially, Dion sang only in her native French, and while she was a huge star in her native Quebec, it didn’t translate to widespread global success. His first battle with cancer was in the late 1990s.
Angelil appeared alongside Dion in her 2010 concert documentary “Celine Dion: Through the Eyes of the World”.
There’s no word on what will happen with Dion’s January shows.
The family asked to be left alone to mourn in private.

The 47-year-old singer – who returned to her residency in August after taking a year off to care for her spouse – is tentatively scheduled to return to the venue on February 23.
