Microsoft will enable the new functionality as part of this summer’s Anniversary Update to Windows 10.
The update will bring a wide range of new features to Microsoft’s smartphones, tablets and more, this will include improved security with Windows Hello, Windows Ink and updates for Cortana.
The update will also bring UWP apps for Xbox, with Cortana support and background music to Xbox One. When you join this program you also had access to an Insider Hub app and a Windows Feedback app, that has since been merged together with to create the Feedback Hub. Each Bot will enhance your Skype experience in its own way, bringing a new dimension into your everyday Skype chats by helping turn your ideas and plans into actions. Cortana will now be more intelligent on expected lines and also be available to Windows 10 users from the lock screen itself.
It is often said that Microsoft alternates between releasing “bad” and “good” versions of Windows, the company’s operating system.
These apps have been weaved along with Microsoft’s digital assistant Cortana. The inking aspect of Windows 10 particularly is a boost. In its blog, Microsoft explains that with the new update, any Xbox One console could become a developer kit allowing one to build new games.
The latest integrations on Cortana will only serve to strengthen the mobile assistant’s position as one of the best, if not the best virtual assistant in the market.

As far as iOS is concerned, iPhones won’t get notification sync with a Windows 10 computer (such features already exist for Mac computers) because of the restrictions that Apple has implemented in the operating system.
