Cos Cob Library Open House, Book Sale is Saturday
They are 50 cents per inch for paperbacks and $1 per inch for hardbacks.

It takes a few minutes to get your bearings when you walk into Penfield Public Library’s used book sale.
The sale features thousands of donated books, including novels, nonfiction, cookbooks, reference books and children’s books, as well as DVDs, puzzles and more.
Book donations are being accepted at the Library or, if possible, WE WOULD APPRECIATE YOUR BRINGING THE BOOKS the CEC on our set-up dates of September 28th, 29th and 30th between 9:30 and 5:30pm. Discounts start Saturday morning and are usually half-off by 10 a.m. More than 100 FPPL volunteers are working the five days of the sale, including Co-Chair Flanagan’s two grandsons.
Beaverton Branch Library hours are: 9 a.m.by 8 p.m., Monday – Thursday; 9 a.m. -5 p.m. Friday; 9 a.m. -1 p.m. Saturday, and Gladwin: 9 a.m. -8 p.m. Monday – Thursday; 9 a.m. -5 p.m., Friday – Saturday.
Believe it or not, the Friends have already begun collecting books for NEXT year’s sale.
