Cosby accuser asks for all his testimony to be made public

PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Bill Cosby’s first accuser has asked a judge to release the comedian’s full deposition in her sex-assault lawsuit, saying that Cosby, his lawyers and agents broke the confidentiality agreement that sealed the 2006 court settlement. “Something called parenting said, ‘If you get caught with it, you’re going to embarrass your mother, ‘” Cosby said. Cosby described the kind of black community uprising we saw in Ferguson that can lead to positive change – “Then we all run out and are outraged: “The cops shouldn’t have shot him“” – only to dismiss it with the most ridiculous of rhetorical questions, as if shoplifting a pound cake (or, to update the image, some cigarillos) were an offense punishable by death.

Further, as MSNBC reported, Robreno concluded “the stark contrast between Bill Cosby, the public moralist, and Bill Cosby, the subject of serious allegations concerning improper (and perhaps criminal) conduct” was of interest not only to AP but to the public at large.

The documents revealed that Cosby, in a sworn deposition, admitted to obtaining drugs with the intent of giving them to women.

‘The truth has come out’. He has never been charged with a crime and has repeatedly denied sexual assault allegations. Earlier this week, her attorney stressed he believes his client’s case still falls within the statute of limitations. NBC and Netflix recently canceled projects that were planned with Cosby, and last year he resigned from the board of trustees of his alma mater Temple University, a position he had held for 32 years.

“It was like everything turned a 180 in a matter of a minute”.

But Constand follows several other Cosby accusers on Twitter, including model Beverly Johnson and comedy writer Joan Tarshis, and after the Cosby documents were unsealed on Monday, she tweeted: “YES!” and “SIR!”

I think that factors such as failure to disclose in a timely manner and contacts with the alleged perpetrator after the event are factors that weigh toward Mr. Cosby”, Castor said at the time.

“And now that the truth has come out – that he has bought drugs in order to drug women to have sex with him – I’m just so relieved that the truth has come out”.

The ex- Temple University employee is seeking to nullify the agreement as she feels she must again defend herself due to Cosby’s actions.

According to Constand, Cosby gave her medication that made her dizzy.

She said she woke up the next morning sore, with her clothes askew and a vague memory of being fondled.

Cosby eventually settled the legal suit, which claimed that 13 “Jane Does” had similar stories of sexual abuse.
