Cosby detailed his womanizing, secrecy efforts a decade ago

In the deposition, which Cosby has for years managed to keep private but was obtained by The New York Times, he comes across as alternately annoyed, mocking, occasionally charming and sometimes boastful, often blithely describing sexual encounters in graphic detail.

But, said lawyer Patrick O’Connor in his first public statements since the transcript’s release, that’s only one side of the story.

Mr Cosby was questioned for four days in 2005 and 2006 in a Philadelphia hotel, and the deposition of close to 1,000 pages was formed.

Cosby says he apologized twice because of the age difference between the two. “It’s an outrage that the court processes weren’t followed here”. “It is no wonder that he fought to keep this deposition, which reveals his revolting predatory conduct, hidden from public view”.

Court papers unsealed earlier this month showed that he admitted giving drugs to women with the aim of having sex with them. For the record, Cosby admitted to her attorney that he had about seven prescriptions for Quaaludes during the 1970s because it was a party drug.

Through it all, his manner was largely one of casual indifference.

Most of Cosby’s past defenders have jumped ship. He is now the board’s chairman.

Constand was a staffer for the women’s basketball team at Cosby’s alma mater, Temple University, when she visited Cosby’s Pennsylvania home in 2004.

“We’ve heard nothing from him about this”, Hochner said of O’Connor.

She went on: “I stood by a man I respected and loved”. They reportedly kissed and had sexual contact afterward, according to the newspaper.

Temple President Neil D.

“I don’t know”, Cosby replied.

Ferrier and Neal, who served as anonymous witnesses to the 2005 case, backed up Constand’s request, as they needed the whole document in order for them to be able to defend themselves, Allred reasoned. Robreno has not yet ruled on their requests.

Obama told reporters there is no precedent or mechanism to take back Cosby’s medal. The Inquirer’s efforts to obtain a copy of the transcript Sunday were unsuccessful. Any sexual contact they had, Cosby said, was consensual.

In his deposition, Cosby described his sexual encounters with the women in detail. “I wanted to have them just in case”.

Cosby said in the deposition that he was a mentor to Constand, the Time reported.

Cosby said he figured his wife would have known he was helping Constand with her education, but she would not have known it was because they were having sex, the Associated Press reported.

Later, she accused Mr Cosby of giving her a powerful drug and then molesting her.

The lawyer presses Cosby, asking, “Did you say, ‘here’s quaaludes?” Troiani asked. “(Cosby) didn’t take it seriously.

Of Constand, Cosby’s attitude was clear.

A person close to the Cosby’s disclosed to the Post that Camille, who has been married to Bill since 1965, knew that her husband was cheating on her. And I don’t feel her say anything. “I was there”.

He has never been charged with a crime but the accusations have shattered Cosby’s good-guy, fatherly image.
