Since the number of accusations against the legendary comedian has grown, Camille Cosby has publicaly defended her husband continuously.
Camille, 71, who has been married to her husband for nearly 52 years, is also the 78-year-old’s business manager.
Bill Cosby arrives at court to face a felony charge of aggravated indecent assault on Wednesday, Dec. 30, 2015, in Elkins Park, Pa. Cosby was charged with drugging and sexually assaulting a woman at his home 12 years ago.
Cosby was arraigned and released on $1 million bond.
But in Thursday’s ruling, United States Magistrate Judge David Hennessy said he would “deny her (Camille Cosby’s) motion in its entirety”.
Attorneys for the seven women had fired back in court papers, writing that other than Bill Cosby himself, there is likely no one besides his wife who “has more knowledge of Mr. Cosby’s sexual proclivities and encounters (consensual and nonconsensual), as well as his use of Quaaludes and other sedatives”.
Jacquelyn Martin/AP Bill Cosby, left, and his wife Camille appear at the John F. Kennedy Center for Performing Arts in 2009. They brought forward a motion to oppose a subpoena issued in a defamation case brought by several women accusing Cosby of sexually assaulting them.
Those criminal charges have not stopped the civil litigation surrounding Cosby, however.

Cosby despatched a Twitter message on Thursday afternoon saying: “Friends and followers, Thank You”. The suit, which was first filed in December 2014 by Linda Traitz, Tamara Green and Therese Serignese, gained four more plaintiffs – Louisa Moritz, Barbara Bowman, Joan Tarshis and Angela Leslie – in November. The former Cosby Show star countersued, claiming that they have hurt his reputation.
