Cosby sues model Beverly Johnson for defamation
“The comedian is claiming emotional distress against Tamara Green, Therese Serignese, Linda Traitz, Louisa Moritz, Barbara Bowman, Joan Tarshis and Angela Leslie … claiming the allegations of drugging and then sexually assaulting them is flatly untrue”, TMZ reported.

Embattled comedian Bill Cosby has slapped former supermodel Beverly Johnson with a defamation lawsuit over her allegations of sexual assault. I ask for your support of all of the victims involved.
Johnson went into detail in a Vanity Fair piece previous year, recalling he invited her over to his home to read lines ahead of an audition for The Cosby Show but the night turned sinister.
He has always denied the accusations and has never been criminally charged.
But Cosby’s attorneys say those statements don’t refer to Hill by name or otherwise specifically and even if they did, amount to protected speech.
She continued, “I wanted him to know that I knew that he had drugged me and I just went on survival mode”. Their sexual assault claims have tarnished his reputation, and negatively impacted plans for a new family comedy on NBC, Cosby said.
It seeks unspecified damages and an injunction preventing the model from repeating her claims that the comedian drugged her with a cappuccino in his NY home in the 1980s. She devoted a chapter to it in her 2015 autobiography, “The Face That Changed It All“.
The women made “malicious, opportunistic, and false and defamatory accusations of sexual misconduct”, according to Cosby’s lawyer Monique Pressley as reported by CNN. He also wants Johnson to retract her statement, as well as remove a chapter about the alleged incident from her memoir.
Hill appeared in the “Picture Pages” educational videos with Cosby in the 1980s when she was a teenager. He’s demanding a jury trial, courtroom documents filed in L.A. Superior Courtroom showed.
The model’s “false allegations against Mr. Cosby have been the centerpiece of her attempted resurgence and she has played them to the hilt”, Cosby’s lawsuit states.

Hill’s lawsuit is in the U.S. District Court of western Pennsylvania.
