Costa Rescues Chelsea Against Rampaging Swansea
Terry hurt his ankle during Chelsea’s 2-2 away draw against Swansea City on Sunday and despite manager Antonio Conte insisting he is not anxious because the Blues skipper is a warrior, Sinclair feels that he may miss out against Jurgen Klopp’s men.

Five appearances Costa took his season’s tally to six goals in five appearances for club and country but his two here were not enough to prevent Conte shedding his first points as manager.
Chelsea captain John Terry suffered an ankle injury in the closing stages which will be assessed on Monday. Conte’s men host Liverpool at Stamford Bridge on Friday.
Yet, while Terry’s fitness will be a concern, it was Costa who dominated this occasion.
Not until the 40th minute did Swansea have a real sight of goal when Fer s drive through the middle saw the ball break to Sigurdsson, whose curling shot flew just beyond the left-hand post.
He received 11 yellow cards in 44 games last season, also being sent off against Everton in the FA Cup. It is normal in football. You know that Diego is a player with good passion and they tried to provoke him. “And Diego Costa is a good player not only with scoring, but he’s a strong player because he’s able to play alone against three or four defenders”.
The Dutchman seemingly fouled Cahill when winning the ball off the center back, but Marriner did not see the incident and let Fer’s goal stand as the Swans took a 2-1 lead, much to the frustration of the Chelsea defender.
“Every game the press ask me about the passion of Diego Costa”, he added. “Tomorrow we will see the situation with his ankle”.
But Chelsea eventually rescued a point and ensured their unbeaten start to the season remained intact nine minutes from time as Costa, who was influential throughout the match, struck with an overhead kick.
“His behaviour was fantastic”. Fantastic behaviour. It wasn’t easy. “It’s incredible the defender finished the match”.
Leroy Fer appeared to foul in the build-up and Cahill reckons referee Andre Marriner should have spotted it.
Cahill is quoted by BBC Sport as saying: “Come on, seriously!” They know him and sometimes they try to provoke him.
“We can play again with this shape because, in my opinion, we played well before the first Chelsea goal but not what I want”.
It all added up to one of the most dramatic Premier League games of the season so far, which Chelsea, who had 28 attempts on goal, dominated for nearly an hour.
“It’s very hard to talk about the game and the final result because I think Chelsea deserved to win”, said Conte.
