Could No Man’s Sky Be Coming To Xbox One?

No Man’s Sky launched with big exploration and PC problems, Xbox One tops console sales for the month of July, and The Witcher 3 will finish its run with a complete Game of the Year Edition. It is, in fact, due to the bugs that are causing No Man’s Sky to crash, especially on the PC.

NeoGAF user Hugo Peters recently dug through the data files from the Steam version of No Man’s Sky and uncovered some interesting assets, including 3D models and a few suggestive file names.

Speaking with DailyStar, Murray said that it was “perhaps naive” for suggesting No Man’s Sky only see free updates.

This alone would likely be brushed off, but paired with Murray’s rather cautious response to the question, and the Sony rep’s eagerness to have the interview move on, means that there’s a chance that No Man’s Sky on Xbox One could be a possibility with the PS4 release being a timed exclusive. Given the commercial success that is taking shape, at least we know that Sean Murray team will certainly fund to optimize and shape No Man’s Sky much as possible. Hello Games has not shared any plans to bring the game on Xbox One.

However, before the conversation could go any further, Sony’s representative stepped in explaining that at the time, there was nothing more to add.

In the end these files could all be leftover legacy files from when No Man’s Sky was in early development, but here’s hoping we see the title hit Xbox One in the near future. The bad is the PC version of the game is not running too well.
