Russell Crowe has also been eyed for a role, but his involvement has not been confirmed yet. While the three are very professional talents, “Skull Island” still requires some major names to sell this timeless franchise.
Meanwhile, Brie Larson and Tom Hiddleston have both recently been added to the cast of the movie, as well as “Straight Outta Compton” star Corey Hawkins.

In addition, Brit Tom Wilkinson (Batman Begins) is also in talks to take on another lead role in the film. Find out more about the Kong Skull Island cast after the jump!
He continued, “His story which I know he hasn’t revealed to anyone yet is “King Kong” you’ve never seen before, and it’s very ambitious and epic and fresh and new in his vision and design and the characters are incredible”.
Jordan Vogt-Roberts is directing KONG from a script toiled over by Max Borenstein, John Gatins and Dan Gilroy. Little is known about the plot of the film other than its status as a prequel to King Kong set on Skull Island.
