As well as being a hit online, the video has been featured in global news media outlets including Mashable, CNN and the Daily Mail.
Hollywood actress Anna Faris has joined Air New Zealand for the carrier’s latest safety video.
The video features Kiwi actor Rhys DArby (star of Flight of the Conchords), trying to convince United States actress Anna Faris (Brokeback Mountain, CBS sitcom Mom) to star in the video with him.
“Air New Zealand’s safety videos are a Kiwi staple and reflect the Kiwi sense of humor”.
“Our Auckland to LA non-stop service is extremely popular so it was great to bring some of the Hollywood glamour along with some humour to our latest inflight safety video”.
In the video, called Safety in Hollywood, Darby plays the role of a doughnut eating NYPD cop.
The video was shot at the Warner Bros.
Another celebrity makes an appearance, Chester the Chihuahua, who has previously starred in Transformers and Grey’s Anatomy.
