Couple stopped from using homemade shark cages on North Carolina beach
North Carolina’s surge of shark attacks won’t stop one couple from enjoying their day at the beach.

According to Fox 43 on Tuesday, an attempt to test shark proof cages by a man and a woman off the coast of North Carolina was delayed as a local lifeguard called them out of the water.
Scott Bergman is the inventor of the futuristic shark cages and says they were meant for a spoof video. A lifeguard, however, had other ideas. “They don’t want to get bit”.
The Camden, NC resident said she couldn’t believe the couple actually made the cages and were trying to use them in the open water.
She said the “cages” looked like PVC pipe and “obviously wouldn’t and couldn’t be seriously used to go swimming with sharks”.
“Greetings from the Outer Banks North Carolina”, the postcard reads.

The video, shared by Jordan Cutrell, also was shared about 9:20 a.m. on the WCMS 94.5 FM Facebook page, where it already had more than 128,000 views.
