Watch the blind audition and the shocking proposal now, but consider yourself SPOILER WARNED: She says yes!!!!!

Fair warning: Monday (September 28) night’s episode of The Voice was not for the weak of stomach. After Pharrell and Gwen turned around and the duo picked Pharrell, Jubal got down on one knee and proposed. Maybe it was Blake’s connection to another wise-beyond-her-years teen, Season 1 Team Blake finalist Xenia, who hails from Cole’s hometown of Temecula.

Try to watch the whole proposal above and not get chills; I dare you. Needless to say, Adam was able to convince Manny to join his team.

That remains to be seen, but on a female-heavy team, Darius has the opportunity to shine. Korin Bukowski is admittedly “different”, but on this show, the voice is all that matters, and hers really impressed Gwen.

This loveable nerd lit up the stage with her take on “Cecilia and the Satellite”. She delivered this was the right amount of rasp and gusto, but at the end of the day, the most memorable thing about her was her ADORABLE daughter. Her tuning started to go off when she realized that someone in Gwen was interested in working with her. She’s a toss-up for us in the later rounds, but given that she has a few notoriety and history performing, you have to assume that she could be somewhat of a live-show threat. The young singer stripped down the song with just an acoustic guitar and let her vocals do all the work.

That’s cute, but grandparents are famous for their fleeting compliments. As usual, the other coaches really tried hard to move her away from going to Shelton, but she didn’t fall for it and joined Team Blake. “Gwen, in her lifetime, has been to a country concert”.

Q: (To Bind Joe) How did you feel since you couldn’t tell who had turned around until, I think, it was Blake told you that – how many chairs turned around for you?

‘The fact that you’re 16 and you can lock eyes with me and be that fearless…’ she giggled before Blake, 39, interjected. “I’m desperate”, Shelton admitted when Williams questioned his tactics. Manny landed on Team Adam.

The judges also fought over Hungarian heartthrob Viktor Kiraly. Viewers could expect new talented and exciting performances that can stun the coaches.

A radio personality with a big voice looking to change industries won over Adam.

Ignoring the cheap attempts at word play, they had a point – Viktor’s rendition of Marvin Gaye’s “What’s Going On?” had soul, character and transcended singer stereotypes.

A couple stole the attention during “The Voice” blind auditions last night, but it was not Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani.

Jubal continued, “I knew one way or another that we were going to do it before we picked our coach”. Surprising no one, he goes with the resident rocker, Adam. Team Gwen. It’s a bit surreal to see this song done again considering Meghan Trainor herself has been on The Voice three times already, but hey, it’s still great that Lyndsey turns four chairs.

One of the strongest performances of the night was from pretty blonde twins Andi and Alex, both 23, from Wisconsin. Levine turned around first followed immediately by the other three coaches and gave Crump the third four-chair turnaround of the night.
