“Oh my god”, one passenger said.

The father can be seen jumping off a racing buggy and waving his arms frantically, while his wife drops her bags, falls to her knees and clasps her hands in front of her chest as she begs the crew to stop.

“The children seemed really upset that their parents had missed the boat”, another passenger, Brady Forbes, told MailOnline Travel.

The company helped the couple with lodging and travel, and the parents were reunited with their kids back in NY when the ship docked. I think I would have jumped in the water like an idiot to try to swim after the ship, I’d be so hysterical.

The Daily Mail says the woman was reportedly late getting to the port in Nassau and her husband got off the boat to look for her. During that time, the ship went against protocol and waited an additional half an hour for the couple and left after speaking with relatives looking after the couple’s boy and girl ages 9 and 12.

The man filming the footage then tell the camera that the ship shows no sign of slowing down as it backs quickly out of the harbour. “When it’s 5.30 it’s 5.30, not 5.31”.

The Norwegian Breakaway was on a seven-day cruise to the Bahamas and Bermuda after departing from its home port in NY on 17 April.

“Personally as a mother of four I do use the kids club but would never leave them on board alone”, McIntyre said.
