“Getting older is not the easiest thing”, the brunette confessed.

“Sometimes you find yourself trying [to stop the aging process] and then you look at a picture of yourself and you go, ‘Oh god, I look terrible.'” She continued, “I have done things that I regret and luckily there are things that dissolve and go away”. “Getting older has not been”.
“I think that we were such good friends”, she said.
And the biggest lesson has been to allow herself to age gracefully. “Trying to chase that.it’s something you can’t keep up with”. “I have done things that I regret, and luckily they’re things that dissolve and go away”, she continued, adding her new motto is “let it be”.
The former Friends star, 52, admits she used to fuss over her looks earlier on in her career as she tried to maintain a more youthful appearance, but testing out various beauty procedures didn’t always produce the best results for her.
Thankfully, she and McDaid are back together and Cox gushed that the relationship is in a “new context” now.
Cox also opened up to Grylls about the breakdown of her marriage to David Arquette, with whom she has a daughter called Coco Riley Arquette. “She’s just turned 12 and I see so much of myself in her”.
Courteney has been largely quiet about the reason behind the break-up, but during a candid chat with TV adventurer Bear Grylls, she admitted the separation was linked to the couple’s differing approaches to love, and suggested her “co-dependency” had been part of the problem. No one’s ever asked me in this way, so I haven’t really thought about it like this. “Johnny isn’t into that whole Hollywood look anyway, so I don’t feel pressure to keep looking like a 20-year-old for him”. Cox directed her ex-husband in “Just Before I Go”.
Actor Courteney Cox and musician Johnny McDaid attend the Los Angeles premiere of New Line Cinema’s “Horrible Bosses 2” at TCL Chinese Theatre on November 20, 2014 in Hollywood, California.

“The way he regards love is precious”, Cox said about McDaid. We’re just really different, too. “It’s more special”, she said. So, I didnt know how to regard love the way he does.
