Cover Alert | Prince Covers Radiohead At Coachella
For years Prince refused to let anyone see his cover of Radiohead’s Creep he performed at Coachella in 2008 by having it consistently removed from the Web, much to the chagrin of his fans and of Radiohead’s. He recently took down his music from every streaming service except Tidal, and once tried to sue 22 fans for $1 million each just for linking to bootlegs of his songs (yeah, that was pretty confusing).

Prince hates sharing his music online.
The video’s description includes a bit of nose-thumbing towards Prince, by including Radiohead’s ownership over the song, along with Thom Yorke’s nearly curt thoughts on the matter: “Well, tell him to unblock it…it’s our song”.
“PRINCE”, he simply tweeted, along with a link to the performance.
Since footage of Prince’s Creep cover returned to YouTube, The Purple One has himself shared the video on Twitter, suggesting that he’s cool with it all and the clip will likely remain available to all. “Surely we should block it [rather than Prince]”.

After mulling over that statement for seven years, Prince finally relented.
