“Cowboy” James Storm Makes NXT Debut At TV Tapings
WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross has updated his blog at JRsBarBQ.com and commented on the news that former TNA World champion James Storm made his NXT debut at last night’s tapings from Full Sail University.

As for his role, Storm will be in the ring but could also be used as a coach because of his vast experience. The live WWE Network special from MSG cleared the deck to let the main roster focus on the build to the next pay-per-view (PPV), Hell in a Cell, where Lesnar’s tour will wrap up when it wraps up his feud with Undertaker. He faced Martin Stone is singles action and ending up winning his first NXT match on Thursday night. He competed in a match that will air on NXT on Wednesday, October 21, only on WWE Network.
So, how excited are you to see James Storm in WWE NXT? It’s likely he will help grow the NXT brand as Samoa Joe did.
If you don’t remember Cal Bishop, he’s made infrequent appearances on NXT shows and live events since 2013, most notably in this weird scene with Sylvester LeFort where he needed to put on trousers. Props to Triple H and the team behind the idea of getting Storm on board.
He wrestled a match at the tapings, and will have a few sort of ongoing involvement with NXT.

As for Storm, it appears The Cowboy had a good time in his debut.
