Cowboys are working out WR Hakeem Nicks

Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant left Sunday night’s game after breaking a bone in his foot and coach Jason Garrett said after the Cowboys victory that Bryant was expected to have surgery. “I see now how what I said could easily be misunderstood as an expression of resentment”. Romo’s throw to Witten was the latest game-winning touchdown pass in Cowboys history, according to NBC. “He’s the best”. They all had their downs, but they most certainly had their ups. Josh Brown’s 19-yard field goal gave the Giants a 26-20 lead with 1:34 left, but Romo had approximately 40 more seconds than he would have if Manning had been sacked or simply taken a knee.

“Street, a 6’3”, 198-pound sophomore receiver out of the University of Pittsburgh, has his hands full as he is set to assume the starting role opposite of Williams for at least the next four games, but this doesn’t mean he can’t at least have average production. They gave Romo over a minute of game time and only a six-point deficit.

And Manning echoed his sentiment, saying, “That’s 100 percent on me”.

Jennings helped put some of the onus on Manning by saying the quarterback instructed him not to score, and in an as-told-to column in the New York Post, Jennings said he shouldn’t have done that. The decision to throw the ball there on third down was not a good decision. “Don’t score. He still ran hard, we got two yards on first down and second down”. Last year, Manning was in the top 10 in National Football League quarterbacks for most interceptions thrown with 14. It is highly questionable if Bryant will be ready to play by that time. The Cowboys would have had to score twice in under two minutes with two timeouts left. “But whenever that’s the case, the defence has to step up”.

Manning confirmed Monday that he purposely told Jennings not to score on first- and second-down run plays in the Giants’ 27-26 loss with the sole intent of running more time off the clock to deprive Dallas a chance at a comeback.

“He has great poise”.

Coach Jason Garrett knows the importance of another wide receiver and he said that the team would add a receiver to replace the star wide receiver. “Tremendous amount of confidence in that huddle, and a lot of it comes from the confidence the quarterback projects to the team”. After the talented Eagles in Week Two, Dallas would face two NFC South opponents (v. Atlanta, @ New Orleans) before going against a murderous stretch (v. New England, @ New York Giantswho they would have already lost to – v. Seattle and @Philadelphia). He went to the locker room in the first half to be treated for dehydration.
