Cowboys’ Elliott won’t be fined for jumping in Salvation Army kettle

“That bucket is just sitting right there by the end zone, so it’s only right someone jumps in it”.

Just this year Odell has been fined for excessive celebration once and unsportsmanlike conduct twice.

Cowboys rookie Ezekiel Elliot proved he is charitable in every sense of the word Sunday.

‘Actually I’m going to match whatever they fine me with a donation to the Salvation Army, ‘ said Elliott, who rushed for a career-high 159 yards to push his NFL-leading total to 1,551.

The Cowboys were penalized 15 yards on the ensuing kickoff for unsportsmanlike conduct, but the National Football League said Monday that Elliott would not face further sanctions.

“Let’s give Zeke credit for that”.

Team owner Jerry Jones seemed OK with it as well.

Despite the 15 yard penalty, that specific touchdown helped Elliott break the Dallas franchise’s record for rushing touchdowns by a rookie, with 13 so far this season.

The Salvation Army needs our help.

More people are shopping online this year, so fewer people are walking by the Red Kettle sites.

Ezekiel Elliott really got into the holiday spirit Sunday night. Officials ruled Elliott used the Salvation Army red kettle as a prop, something the league disallowed in 2006.

Captain Mark Love, executive director of the local Salvation Army said they don’t turn people away, especially when it gets cold outside.

“It is becoming increasingly hard each year for non-profit organizations like ours to find funding for emergency programs”, said Lieutenant Ryan Meo, Corps Officer for The Salvation Army of Tallahassee.

“It’s just insane bro, u kno me”, he wrote.

“We needed this boost”.

“If anyone, in these last couple of days before Christmas, would like to give a couple of hours, we certainly have a spot for you”. After Elliott’s entertaining and lucrative touchdown celebration, Dallas Cowboys beat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in a 26-20 victory.
