The Dallas Cowboys are reportedly signing running back Robert Turbin, after cutting running back Christine Michael this week.

Michael joined the Cowboys in a trade for a conditional draft pick just before the start of the regular season in a move that a few saw as a possibility for him to grab a prominent role in a Dallas offense with an uncertain running back rotation. He appeared in three games for the Browns this season, posting 60 yards on 18 carries.

The Cowboys are transitioning between two former Seattle Seahawks running backs, as they let go of running back Christine Michael on Tuesday.

Olatoye came into the league as a rookie free agent out of North Carolina A&T in 2014 with Baltimore and spent time on the Ravens and Kansas City Chiefs practice squad as a rookie.

Turbin, a fourth-year pro from Utah State, was drafted in the fourth round (106th overall) in the 2012 NFL Draft by the Seattle Seahawks. He was claimed off waivers by the Cleveland Browns in September and was waived again on November 10. The condition, according to Todd Archer of ESPN.com, was that Michael had to be on Dallas’ 46-man game-day roster at least three times this season.
