Cowboys reiterate backing of Greg Hardy in wake of revealing photos
With all the cries for Dallas Cowboys defensive end Greg Hardy to be cut by the franchise after horrifying photos of his battered ex-girlfriend emerged last week, one voice has come out to call for him to get help: Charles Barkley. “[Hardy] wasn’t all that emotional in the game. I don’t know if the stuff got to him on the news, but he kind of seemed out of it a little bit”, Johnson said. Philadelphia’s Jason Kelce questioned how quickly he was able to get back on the field.

Rapoport reported that Hardy’s status and playing time will not change as the Cowboys host the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday night.
Cowboys owner Jerry Jones has gone as far as calling Hardy a team leader, despite the fact that Hardy almost fought a Cowboys’ special teams coach and gave an inexcusably misogynistic interview to the media during his first week back from suspension.
“Greg has a commitment to us”. And you lose that in the National Football League if you don’t do the right things.
“He has a commitment to his teammates and our team”.
But he also stood by Hardy, saying, “We have given Greg a second chance”. The photos were taken regarding Hardy’s case where he was accused of assaulting Holder.
Kelce told radio station WIP after the game that he has no respect for Hardy. The league tried to suspend him an additional 10 games – unpaid – this season, but the NFLPA argued that Hardy should not be subject to the NFL’s new domestic violence policies because his incident happened before those rules were in place. But one thing I can say is that over this period of time, being around my family, I’m thankful for my wife, I’m thankful for my kid. We laid out expectations for him right from the start. Originally convicted in July, he had the charges dismissed when Holder failed to show up in court.
Goodell makes $44 million a year to presumably handle tough matters, but we all know he is not capable of taking any type of meaningful action against domestic violence.

For Cowboys fans struggling with supporting the team and also supporting Greg Hardy, a Hall of Fame quarterback has provided an alternative: Support the team, don’t support Hardy. He said that he won’t speak about Hardy, but he has made a life-long decision to raise awareness about domestic violence on rookies and young players along with the NFL.
