Cowell: I feared for my baby son Eric after break
Simon Cowell has said he feared for the safety of his baby son Eric when a burglar broke into his home.

Joking about his pet Yorkshire Terriers Squiddly and Diddly, he added: “We have the worst guard dogs in the world”.
A local security guard, who patrols the exclusive London neighbourhood where Cowell lives, spotted the burglar drop a passport after he fled the scene.
Cowell, his girlfriend Lauren Silverman and son Eric were all asleep at the time. Lauren Murray sang “Take Me Home” and “Runnin” (Lose It All), and Cowell said that Murray proved that she’s a fighter after her two performances. “Thankfully no one was hurt”, he added.
“The most frightening thing is someone has been in your house”. It’s not what they steal, it’s that’s someone can break into your house.
The Mirror reported that it was another security guard, M’batonha Mendes, who ended up chasing the robber down the street, while he was working on another job. Mendes is now said to be getting a Christmas bonus for his heroism. I got out of the auto and picked it up.
“It was nerve-racking. Lauren was woken up with me and we checked on Eric”, Cowell told British newspaper the Sun on Sunday. “He and I communicate very well because we basically like the same things-Scooby Doo, Disney movies, laughing at the dogs”.
According to reports, this was not the first time that a burglary occurred in the neighborhood where Cowell’s home was located. When asked about his own employee, Cowell said: “One person won’t be here anymore”.
The theme tonight on X Factor was (rather appropriately) “Songs To Get Me To The Final” – and boy did the acts pull out all the stops to do just that!
Or maybe daddy Simon is the real boss?
A police investigation is reportedly ongoing.

Although media savvy Simon, 56, is sure he can put his show back on the primetime telly top spot, even he can’t deny that BBC rival talent show Strictly Come Dancing continues to thrash The X Factor in the weekly ratings war.
