Craig says no decision on more Bond
“[Director Sam Mendes] set something in motion with Skyfall and we made a lot of money on that movie”, he said.

“Look, I don’t give a [expletive]”. “They’re just starting to forgive me now”.
“We try to do stuff that we don’t think people have seen before, but having someone like Dave Bautista who spent most of his career being thrown around and throwing other people around, he really knows what he’s doing and he’s incredibly safe”. “Make it better, that’s all”.
In the last fortnight, rumours have maintained that Craig has reversed his position and signed up for two more Bond films.
“It was going to be an easy decision for me”, says Craig, seated in a posh London hotel suite. And while a few may laugh off “old-fashioned” scenes from early movies (i.e. Bond’s surprise at meeting a female doctor in 1979’s Moonraker), the recent movies have a mixed record too. They’d all be in there.
He said: “I used to go and get drunk for a month, but I don’t need to do that any more”. As the boys vie to be bookies’ favourite for Bond, I can’t be the only woman to say: Sod James.
“I think you mean the charms of a woman his own age”, the 51-year-old actor responded after being asked about Bond “succumbing to the charms of an older woman” in Spectre. The cast also features newcomers Monica Bellucci and Léa Seydoux, plus the returning Ralph Fiennes (as the new M), Naomie Harris (Moneypenny) and Ben Whishaw (Q). When someone like that wants to be a Bond girl, you just count yourself lucky!’ Digging into Bond’s past – an unnecessary move instigated by Skyfall – still feels a little contrived. Craig, who also serves as one of the producers of the film, has a great reverence for the role of James Bond, despite his comment about wanting to slash his wrists.
When Craig was asked what we could learn from Bond “that would help us in our day-to-day lives”, he said, after thinking for a while, “Nothing”.
DANIEL CRAIG: [Thinks for a short while.] “Nothing”.
