A Brooklyn, New York, teenager lost his arm in a Craigslist robbery gone wrong on Friday afternoon, authorities said.

This freaky story out of Brooklyn, N.Y. started over a pair of Air Jordans and ended with a teen robber getting his arm ripped off.
The teenage reportedly connected with the seller, a 39-year-old man who goes by “Phil” on Craigslist. They met about 1 p.m. near Avenue M and East 84th Street in Canarsie, where the teen got into the seller’s SUV and pulled out a gun, police said. Instead of offering up the cash, the teen pulled a gun on Pierre and fled with the sneakers.
According to The New York Daily News, Sam got onto a nearby bus, but for some reason the driver refused to leave with a one armed passenger bleeding all over everything.
“I saw a kid under a vehicle…The guy ran him over”.
Police said Pierre was charged with second-degree attempted murder. “He’s trying to rob me'”.
The teen’s arm was severed as the SUV pushed him forward and ran over him, police said.
With the missing limb, the teen still managed to hop on an MTA bus and demanded a MetroCard, but he didn’t get far as the victim caught up to him and told the driver that he had just robbed him.
Pierre is now in custody after bravely deciding to chase down the would-be thief named – Zachary Sam – and then severing his right arm.

The teenager has been taken to hospital where he is said to be in a serious but stable condition. Doctors tried to surgically reattach his arm Friday night.
