“For the spectators, it was an wonderful game to watch but there were good moments and bad moments for us”.

When they click, the Reds can be unstoppable.
Speaking after Liverpool’s nine-game warmup schedule this summer, Klopp hailed Firmino as a “worker”, saying he was his “man of the pre-season”. At 4-1, if we could have kept it like that for longer then it would have been an easier game for us. When they do that, few teams can handle it.
“From the very first game he has been performing, even if he has not scored”, he said.
“He was doing all the analytics and passing them down to Klopp”.
The big question, though, is whether Liverpool can cut down on the bad and completely eradicate the downright ugly. After that we slowly came into the game.
He averaged more successful tackles (three) per 90 minutes last season than any other Liverpool attacker, with Origi (0.7) and Sturridge (0.3) averaging a third of his output between them. The end result was quite remarkable when you look at where he initially picked up possession. Philippe is brilliant, not only as a football player but also as a person.
Klopp got a little carried away and chastised himself later for joining in the celebrations, but it’s understandable that he would get caught up in the moment because the raw speed of Mane’s run and the explosiveness of his finish was something genuinely special.
“It was a insane game”, Klavan told the Liverpool Echo.
“Luckily, Coutinho brought us back into the game and that was a good moment for us just before half-time”.

When you consider what the Reds have going for them this season it may not be as far-fetched as it appears at first glance – there are good reasons why Liverpool might just win the league.
