‘Creed’ star Michael B Jordan lends himself to 2K17
Keeping up with that theme, 2K has hired the rising star of Creed, Michael B. Jordan, to play an original character in National Basketball Association 2K17’s MyCareer. “I’m humbled at the opportunity to help influence [the] franchise”.

The full post goes into the changes and features coming to this year’s game in a lot more detail. Jordan seems like a natural fit, considering his emergence as an actor and his athletic pedigree (Vince Howard in Friday Night Lights, Adonis Creed in Creed). The report further points out that the MyCareer storyline in “NBA 2K17” was written by “Creed” co-writer Aaron Covington.
In NBA 2K17’s career mode, which will be directed by the legendary Spike Lee (who also directed the career mode on NBA 2K16), Jordan will be playing the role of Justice Young, a rising NBA star that teams up with your “MyPlayer” character. It also has an effect on the court.
When the two of you are locked in, you have the opportunity to utilize dual player controls for the first time ever in MyCareer. “Not only can you tell Justice to do things like cut to the basket, take a shot, or isolate, you can also switch over and control him entirely”.
Other MyCareer improvements see more options when actually creating your character, with 10 attribute categories instead of 6 a year ago, before picking your height, weight and wingspan.

The NBA 2K17 Standard Edition will be available in both digital and physical formats for £54.99 on PS4 and PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and Windows PC from September 16.
