The photo shows Diana bending over as Kate carries the newest member of the British royal family into St Magdalene Church in Sandringham in July.
Since Diana’s death at the age of 36, Prince William has ensured his mother’s memory lives on, choosing “Diana” as one of his daughter’s middle names. “What a great job at photoshopping…”
A PHOTOGRAPH showing Princess Diana with her granddaughter Princess Charlotte has surfaced online. “Let’s make this go viral!” she captioned the snap.
The photo has been shared 260,000 times on Facebook, and while some on social media think its sweet, others think it’s a bit creepy.
The image has generated nearly 32,000 likes and received over 2,500 comments since it posted on August 4, the Daily Mail reports.
Diana, Princess of Wales died in a vehicle crash in a Paris tunnel on 31 August 1997.
“I am shocked at the reception the picture got”, she added.
Even though it’s still not clear who actually is behind the photoshopped picture, the image of Princess Diana seems to be taken from a 1997 picture of her meeting Mother Teresa in New York.
