Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal will be in Bengaluru on medical leave for about 10 days from January 22, media reports said.

Kejriwal, claimed that he was informed by one of his source at the PMO about the raid which will be soon carried out at two of his close associates. “Officers under them being pressurized to get something wrong signed from them”, Kejriwal tweeted on Friday.

“Modiji you do whatever you want, truth is with us, God is with us, you can not do anything to us”, Mr Kejriwal said in another tweet.

Seeking Kejriwal’s prosecution under sections 124A (sedition) and 500 (defamation) of the IPC, the advocate alleged that “seditious intention” was there in the remarks which spread “hatred and contempt” against the Prime Minister.

Additional Solicitor General Sanjay Jain, appearing for the Centre, said the plea was not maintainable as the petitioner, Ramakant Kumar, has not made the Union government or DDCA as party.

“He had claimed that CBI had raided his office when the raid was on his principal secretary’s office”. Then the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) accused the Prime Minister Narebdra Modi for orchestrating the raid to access files related to the Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA) alleged scam. Apart from this, the six AAP leaders are also facing a criminal defamation case filed against them in the trial court by the minister. He spoke against corruption but his ministers are looting the public money.
