Thomas Gibson’s suspension from Criminal Minds has been made permanent. The news that we’re reporting today is the last bit of news you ever want to hear.

And apparently, after this incident, Gibson’s directed episode was cancelled, which probably will lead to next to none directed episodes.
Gibson, who has been with the Criminal Minds from the start, issued a statement confirming that creative differences were the cause of the argument. “We always have and we always will”, he continued. He has, so far, helmed six episodes of the CBS show. He will play a special agent who is a member of the FBI Fugitive Task Force and will join the BAU.
Season 12 of Criminal Minds premieres September 28 on CBS.
Gibson, 54, was directing one of Season 12’s early installments when he got into a verbal confrontation with that episode’s writer which reportedly culminated in him kicking the writer. Paget Brewster, too, will be back in “Criminal Minds” Season 12 to join the Behavioral Analysis Unit as an Federal Bureau of Investigation supervisory special agent, Emily Prentiss, TV Line reported.
Thomas Gibson’s time on CBS’ Criminal Minds have come to an end. Years ago, Gibson was accused of pushing another producer and was asked to attend anger management classes after being allowed to remain on the show. She expressed optimism, however, about the show’s 12th season – particularly since Paget Brewster and Aisha Tyler are returning.
Though Criminal Minds frequently tells fictional stories of violence and crime, rarely do we expect the fiction to turn into reality.

This isn’t the first time Mr. Gibson has reportedly had the temper get the better of him on the job.
