Cristiano Ronaldo, 31, wants a 10-year contract
“If I was the president of Real Madrid and I had a player like me, I would renew him for 10 years at least”, added Ronaldo.

Cristiano Ronaldo scored on his return from injury as Real Madrid thrashed promoted Osasuna 5-2 at the Santiago Bernabeu on Saturday to equal the club’s 1960-61 record of 15 successive La Liga wins.
“The most searched for player on the Internet is me”, Ronaldo told reporters, as quoted in the Daily Mail. “Those that want to appear on front covers [of newspapers] or promote things speak about me”.
Xavi stated this week that even though Ronaldo is an “extraordinary” player, he can not be compared to Messi as the Argentine is on another level.
“He’s won every collective trophy, including a World Cup and the European Championship, but he’s never won a Ballon d’Or”.
Ronaldo’s current contract runs out in 2018.
Ronaldo won the award in 2008, 2013 and 2014, while he also claimed his first worldwide trophy this summer by helping Portugal to win Euro 2016.
Xavi is seeing out the final years of a glittering career at Qatari club Al Sadd.
“Everything is on track”.
“I dont see anything else in my career [except Madrid]”, Ronaldo added. “In my eyes, Cristiano is the best player in the world, although I don’t like to compare and we should just enjoy watching him and [Lionel] Messi”.
Ronaldo took just six minutes to mark his return with a goal as he converted a Gareth Bale cross to set his side on their way to maintaining their 100 per cent start to the new campaign.
But with their top players rested by coach Luis Enrique after returning from worldwide duty, long-haul flights and injury, Barcelona struggled to get going.
“I have already rested”, he said, after missing Madrid’s first three games of the season.
“I feel good. I could have played the 90 minutes without any problem”.

“I am still getting back into my rhythm (after the Euros) and still have a way to go, but I am giving my all and I’m very happy to get the goals and the assist”.
