Cristiano Ronaldo a target says Van Gaal

Louis van Gaal has confirmed Manchester United are still trying to sign Cristiano Ronaldo.

Despite the global break coming to a close, the transfer speculation regarding several players continues to rage with a handful of Premier League clubs said to be drawing up their list of targets for January.

It would be a double blow to the Sky Blues, who would not only lose their star player, but would also see their rivals Manchester United boosting their squad tremendously.

And Van Gaal has said he will be welcomed back.
