Despite the global break coming to a close, the transfer speculation regarding several players continues to rage with a handful of Premier League clubs said to be drawing up their list of targets for January.
It would be a double blow to the Sky Blues, who would not only lose their star player, but would also see their rivals Manchester United boosting their squad tremendously.
And Van Gaal has said he will be welcomed back.
Ronaldo was certainly not the sole person to blame for a shambolic display at home to the European champions, but numerous jeers from Blancos supporters were directed towards him nonetheless.
Ronaldo left Old Trafford for Madrid in 2009, for a then world record fee of £80million.
The belief in Madrid at present is that this summer, the club will nearly certainly get rid of either Cristiano Ronaldo or Gareth Bale. She was also his companion at the premiere of his biopic “Ronaldo” in London earlier this month. “I don’t think there is a trainer in the world that doesn’t like him”, van Gaal explained.

Ronaldo, who is the subject of a film documentary about his life which is now on general release, spoke of his affection for his time in England. “I have the same way of running and the same shooting style as Cristiano”, Bebe told AS. I wasn’t there long, but I enjoyed it. “If a big club signed me now it’d be different”. I thought it was a joke.
