Sheffield Wednesday midfielder Semedo, who has played in England since leaving Sporting in 2007, remains close friends with Ronaldo and believes the 30-year-old is keen to return to the Premier League.

Ronaldo has scored seven league goals in nine appearances this season, although five of those finishes came in the 6-0 defeat of Espanyol. “He said he wishes Real Madrid was is in England, but that is not possible so I believe he will end his career in English football”.
The Real forward has been constantly linked with a return to Old Trafford nearly every summer since he has left United.
The revelation will put Ronaldo’s former club Manchester United on red alert. Have your say in the comments section below.
In an interview granted to the Brazilian media Globo Esporte earlier this week, Roberto Carlos opened up about his expectations for his managerial career and also talked about several of the biggest stars in the game these days, from Neymar to Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.
“It is not that Madrid do not have others – Kroos, Marcelo – but I think Cristiano is more decisive in Real Madrid than Messi in Barcelona”.
He told AS: “My future is at Madrid”.
He told Marca: “He [Ronaldo] has been the best player in the world for the past few years, and he knows he is the best”.

“I’m not satisfied yet – I always want more”. You can’t ask him to act as a winger and defend either, because he uses so much energy in attack and he’s the best in the world and the one who scores the goals, he can’t behave like a defender. “I want to win things at Madrid as I think that this club has the potential to win things, but I do not know the future”.
