Cross-Network Play Comes to ‘Rocket League’ on the Xbox One
But Sams also goes on to note that Microsoft is also working on Xbox streaming boxes, also set to be revealed next month, much like the Amazon Fire Stick.

A smaller, cheaper version of the Xbox One will release later this year ahead of a “more powerful” Xbox console in 2017, a new report has claimed.
Citing “three people familiar with [Scorpio]” on condition of anonymity, Kotaku reports that the console’s upgraded GPU will be “technically capable” of supporting the Oculus Rift virtual reality headset and compatible games.
That plan was quickly put out to pasture after audiences made it clear that they wanted games – and Sony took advantage to shape the PS4 messaging around “the players” and win over a bigger audience. The Verge, citing a podcast from Brad Sams at Petri, reported that Microsoft will debut “at least two streaming devices” at the E3 gaming conference next month.
Microsoft Xbox Two to Launch at E3 2016?
Sources in game development told Kotaku they have concerns about 4K gaming on the console as there’s no current plan to update the speed at which a console transfers assets from disk to hard drive, meaning games in 4K would suffer from lengthy load times. The Xbox interface could one day show up on Windows 10, fueling speculation that future PCs could simply become Xbox consoles, offering an alternative option to buying Xbox hardware. Both Oculus and Microsoft did not comment. Unlike the ability to see your game or control the camera, it’s something gamers can easily do without. A shift in Microsoft policy has opened up the ID@Xbox program, and as a result, ‘Rocket League’ on the Xbox One now allows the cross-network play with the PC version. One will be the size of a Chromecast and another will be the size of a lunchbox. As noted all of this information has yet to be confirmed by Microsoft.
Things are so bad that Microsoft has stopped issuing sales numbers for their struggling console.

Although there have been convincing leaks about the PlayStation 4 upgrade console, variously known as the PS4K or PlayStation NEO, there seems no agreement as to when it will be released or unveiled.
