Cruz ad pummels Trump – with kids and action figures

“Hey Hillary, I’ll give you money to be my friend!”

The kids then start getting rowdy, using Trump to knock down a toy house as their parents look on, cowering, around the corner.

Trump responds, “That’s a lousy house”. I’m gonna take your house with eminent domain – and park my limos there.

“Eminent domain!” the boys yell happily as they destroy a dollhouse. Why would we want them in a president?

During the 10-day period leading up to the February 1 caucus, seven of every 10 broadcast TV ad spots that mentioned Trump in Iowa either attacked him or compared him negatively to another candidate, according to an Associated Press analysis of broadcast television political ads.

Appearing on CNN Wednesday evening, Cruz adviser Rick Tyler criticized the billionaire businessman for his lack of substance in the 2016 race thus far, calling Trump out for saying “nothing about immigration, nothing about job creation, nothing about what’s going on in North Korea right now, nothing about defeating ISIS”, according to CNN.

This still holds some risk.

“I’ve spent the least amount of money of any candidate, and I’m No. 1 in the polls”, Trump said. The effort failed but Jeb Bush brought it up during the last GOP debate in New Hampshire as the wrong use of taking property for a private project. This ad could steal some of the post-primary buzz from Kasich, and set up a real fight in SC.
