Cruz Calls Trump “Sniveling Coward” and says “Leave Heidi the Hell Alone”

“We’re more anxious about what Donald Trump’s wife is wearing or what Cruz’s wife is wearing or what Hilary is eating for dinner or what Michelle Obama is doing”.

An angry Cruz described it as baseless and full of lies and urged people to support him become the Republican nominee.

“Trump may be a rat, but I have no desire to copulate with him”.

The National Enquirer article was accompanied by photographs of five women with their faces blurred.

Mr Cruz said: “I want to be crystal clear”.

Meanwhile, also on Tuesday, while Trump was calling for changing laws to allow the U.S.to waterboard terrorism suspects, Cruz had devolved into calling for an anti-Muslim police state.

The tabloid, quoting a “political snitch” and rumors in its report today, does not name the women.

“These smears are completely false, they’re offensive to Heidi and me, they’re offensive to our daughters, and they’re offensive to everyone Donald continues to personally attack”, Cruz wrote in a Facebook post Friday.

Cruz’s statements on Trump in recent days are a far cry from the months he spent praising his opponent while other candidates tried – and largely failed – to weaken the frontrunner. He accused Mr Trump and “his henchmen” for spreading untrue rumours that Mr Cruz cheated on his wife, Heidi.

Trump first brought up Cruz’s wife in a Tuesday night tweet just as polls were closing in Arizona and Utah.

Trump Thursday retweeted a seemingly unflattering photo of Cruz’s wife, Heidi.

“Talk to my lawyer”, she said.

Spokeswomen for both Donald Trump and Ted Cruz faced off tonight over the ongoing controversy about both candidates’ wives being dragged into the news cycle.

The issue reignited Wednesday after an anti-Trump super PAC released an ad featuring a risque photo of his wife, Melania, a former model, taken in a GQ photo shoot.

“I don’t think that’s moving on at all, Amanda”, Bolduan said. For Donald J. Trump to enlist his friends at the National… “Donald, if you try to attack Heidi, you’re more of a coward than I thought”.

Ted Cruz, campaigning in Wisconsin, was livid.

The Democratic front-runner, Hillary Clinton, did worse than Cruz but better than Trump, with 36 per cent of women polled saying they had a “very unfavourable” view of her. The poll had a credibility interval of 2 percentage points.
