Rubio, who appears to be in a fight for a second place finish in SC, told the crowd that from fighting the Affordable Care Act to bringing the national debt under control, he is the candidate with the best record of success.

US President Barack Obama’s comments today, saying Republican candidate Donald Trump “will not be president”, follow yet another day of name-calling on the US Republican campaign trail.
With just days left until the South Carolina Republican primary, many campaigns have taken a negative turn, accusing each other of “dirty politics”.
On his reputation for being unpopular among his congressional colleagues: “You think they dislike me?”
The former Texas solicitor general then suggested that he looked forward to “deposing Donald Trump” himself, saying, “I may well not use outside counsel”. “Mr. Trump last week said that Planned Parenthood does do wonderful things, but supporting Planned Parenthood is incompatible with holding the pro-life position Mr. Trump is now claiming”. The Civil War-era emblem of the Confederate South is long associated with slavery. Cruz said the president’s opening to Cuba is indicative of a failed foreign policy.
SIXTEEN years ago, SC saved George W. Bush’s presidential aspiration, and on Monday, he made a triumphant return to the political stage here, hoping to convince Republicans to work the same magic for his brother, Jeb.
A campaign aide to former Florida Governor Jeb Bush said Haley called Bush, also vying for the party nomination, to inform him of her plan to endorse Rubio.
“Disappointed” was Bush’s response to the endorsement. “Trust me, she’s a great person”. Senator Marco Rubio (Florida), and retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson took questions at CNN’s Town Hall, hosted by Anderson Cooper. Some of the advice was conflicting. “You could raise the bar”, said Edward Scott, of Frederick, Maryland.
“If I want to bring a lawsuit, it would be legitimate”.
Cruz, who won the Iowa caucuses, is looking to pick up momentum to challenge front-runner Donald Trump.
Mr Trump has also questioned Mr Cruz’s mental health.
If Trump does file suit, Cruz said he would consider being personally involved.

“You have been threatening frivolous lawsuits for your entire adult life”, Cruz said, speaking directly to Trump. “Even in the annals of frivolous lawsuits, this takes the cake”, the Texas senator warned. Specifically, the ad features footage of the billionaire businessman in a 1999 interview supporting abortion rights. “Cruz’s campaign of personal insult, deceptions, push polls and ads so misleading they can’t be aired”, said Rubio in a statement issued late in the afternoon. Although most legal experts believe Cruz meets the Constitution’s requirement that presidents be “natural-born” citizens because his mother was a U.S. citizen at the time of his birth, Trump has repeatedly cast doubt on Cruz’s eligibility.
