Cruz Hits Back in Clash Over Immigration Views
And I’ve always said all along, having known Donald Trump for 13 years on a personal level, that Donald will be as serious candidate for president as he wants to be. “Today, the Republican Presidential hopefuls, kissed good-bye to any support from the immigrant and Latino communities, a division that will probably last for decades…It is now up to us to educate, motivate, and mobilize the Latino community to march to the ballots next November and hold accountable candidates and elected officials for their word and actions against immigrants”.

The powerful Republican head of the Senate Intelligence Committee has said his staff is reviewing transcripts to see if Senator Ted Cruz revealed classified information during Tuesday night’s Republican debate. “It’s not as clear as just reading what he said”, Burr said.
“But if he does not endorse and support me as the nominee, legally he can not be on the ballot in many states so that would be the end of his candidacy – but that doesn’t matter because he is not going to win anyway”, Trump said. “The question had been raised”.
For Bush, the risk is that he may be the one to shoot down Trump’s star – and then lose the galactic war to a non-Trump rival who is more in tune with the party’s angry base. Trump, 69, dismissed Bush’s criticism.
“No, he’s too nice”, said Donald Trump, (R) Presidential Candidate.
Trump arrived at Wednesday’s rally in his private 757 jet, which slowly rolled up to the open hangar where supporters gathered as soaring instrumental music played.
Indeed, those trailing behind him spent much time going after each other rather than attacking Trump, perhaps being hesitant to tangle with a candidate who has a talent for what critics call trash talking.
One of the most striking contrasts between the senators centered on how aggressive the USA should be in seeking to topple Middle East dictators, some of whom have been bulwarks against Islamic extremists. “And I want to continue to run for office on our message”, he said. Marco Rubio of Florida (tied for third) and retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson, according to Andy Stone, the head of policy communications for Facebook.
Cruz’s comment drew a response not only from Rubio, who said, “Let me be very careful in answering because I don’t think national television in front of 15 million people is the place to discuss classified information;” but also from Becca Glover Watkins, a spokeswoman for Sen.
On Wednesday night, for example, the Cruz campaign fired off a press release titled, “Marco Rubio’s Trouble With The Truth: Rubio’s Rhetoric Smacked Down By Reality”.
As The New Civil Rights Movement reported this morning, after accusing Rubio of making “knowingly false” and “Alinsky-like attacks like Barack Obama”, Cruz continued the attack. “He would not be the commander-in-chief we need to keep our country safe”.

Some experts said there was still a chance that Trump’s opponents could catch up. (Yet. If the race narrows to Cruz/Rubio, that may change.) Also, if Christie’s a major gainer here, how come he didn’t show more strength in Gravis’s overall poll of the race last night? These forces largely and often loudly oppose immigration leniency; indeed many are on board with Trump’s provocative calls for mass deportation and a bar on Muslim arrivals.
