Cruz ‘Illegally Stole’ Iowa Caucus Win
Donald Trump’s defeat may have dominated worldwide headlines after he was relegated to second place in the Iowa caucuses, but an equally fascinating story was developing on the Democratic side. He also said skipping the most recent presidential debate could have hurt him, but said he would make the same decision again, pointing to the $6 million he says he raised for veterans organizations by holding a counter-event.

A previous Trump tweet accused the Cruz campaign of telling Iowa voters that Ben Carson was quitting the race so he could steal Carson votes.
Cruz’s campaign said later that they should have sent “around the follow-up statement from the Carson Campaign clarifying that he was indeed staying in the race”.
Cruz won 27.7 percent of the vote in the Republican caucus in Iowa, staking his claim to be the new standard bearer of the right. Florida Senator Marco Rubio came in a close third with 23 percent.
U.S. Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton waves to attendees after arriving for a campaign rally at Winnacunnet High School in Hampton, New Hampshire February 2, 2016.
Now he wants to take Ted Cruz’s marbles, too … or more to the point, take away Cruz’s Iowa victory.
Cruz also topped all age groups except possibly 25-29, whose numbers were not available.
“I understand that Donald finds it very hard to lose, that he finds that very difficult to him”, Cruz continued.
Polls show Mr Sanders leading by double digits in New Hampshire, which neighbours Vermont. Bernie Sanders, whom he said would be good for Sweden, but later said was “not a good president for anyone”.
“He said obviously he didn’t know that people were doing this kind of thing in his organization, and he didn’t agree with it”, Carson told reporters. Sanders said that the tremendous support he gained from Iowa just means that more people are sending a message to the political, economic and media establishments.
He was competing for the evangelical voters that propelled Cruz to victory in that state. Were he to come in a strong third or even best Cruz and come in second, it could spell the end of the Christie, Kasich and Bush campaigns – and at least two of them will probably drop out of the race.

Cruz, with his ultra-professional campaign and smooth stump style, brought home a huge triumph.
