Cruz: New Hampshire, Iowa Show Only I Can Beat Trump
ENDORSEMENTS: More will pop after New Hampshire.

“Because the governors haven’t dealt with foreign policy, in the case of John Kasich in a long time”.
Only 40 percent of New Hampshire Republicans support deporting millions of Latinos, so that’s what passes for good news in all this.
And an ABC News exit poll found two-thirds of Republican voters said they favor a temporary ban on USA entry for Muslims who are not US citizens, an idea that originated with Trump in December.
GOP primary turnout set a record, just like in Iowa. Jeb Bush brought his mother, Barbara Bush, on the campaign trail in New Hampshire last week. Ted Cruz got the best bang for the buck, spending just $18 per vote. “Republicans will want to have a Republican”, he said. “It’s about the country”, said Ann Dobson, a Spartanburg voter supports Rubio.
His campaign’s suggestion that the race could veer a contested convention seemed to signal to mainstream Republicans that the party would be ill-served by allowing the Trump phenomenon to last much longer.
Trump has questioned the result and fairness of the caucus, but Trump bounced back on Tuesday, winning the New Hampshire primary by a large margin.
Cruz will lean heavily on religious and tea party conservatives, a sizable faction of the SC primary electorate expected to top 700,000 voters, far outpacing Iowa and New Hampshire. With his Fox News super PAC and grassroots appeal, Rubio was supposed to be the shining conservative in the race, not the guy gutting it out in the Establishment Lane.
Both Carly Fiorina and New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie suspended their campaigns Wednesday. Jeb Bush’s campaign released a radio ad featuring the former president earlier this week, in which he says, “There’s no doubt in my mind that Jeb Bush will be a great commander-in-chief for our military”.
“I hope I am a big loser”, he told CNN while impersonating Trump. It’s on me. It’s on me.
In 2008, Democrats who were hurting in President George W. Bush’s economy went for Clinton over Obama.
Despite the disappointing outcome on Tuesday night, Cruz said that he can still win the presidential nomination. “We obviously need to do better than we did in New Hampshire”, he said of the state where he finished in fifth place. He spun his second place showing as a victory, declaring himself “The Comeback Kid”. It’s also possible that Clinton will be moved to more expressly address how her husband’s policies exacerbated the disproportionate incarceration of African-American men during and after his tenure-an opportunity ripe for potential missteps. You may recall that former Secretary of State Madeline Albright suggested a few days ago that there was a “special place in hell” for women who didn’t vote for Mrs. Clinton. All of them voted overwhelmingly for Sanders. “There are a lot of candidates”, Gowdy said as he was traveling with Rubio on Wednesday. Of the voters who said honesty was most important to them, they broke 91% to 5% for Sanders. But that doesn’t hold up. Clinton still tops him in polls nationally. Marco Rubio, R-Fla. gestures as he speaks next to his son Anthony Rubio, 10, during a campaign event in Spartanburg, S.C., Wednesday Feb. 10, 2016, his first stop after the New Hampshire primary.
Nevada and especially SC will prove critical in setting the tone and tenor of the race while testing the capacity of the campaigns and the candidates to endure. The Democrats hold caucuses in Nevada that same day.

And while he called on his party to unite behind his candidacy Thursday in South Carolina, Rubio seemed to offer a broad definition of “quickly”.
