Cruz promises to defend gun rights in NH campaign swing
The contest between the two leading Republican candidates has broken out into open attacks with Ted Cruz calling Donald Trump “rattled” and accusing him of embodying “New York values”. He says he was born, but can we be sure of anything he says?

“Wyoming law requires that a nominee be qualified to hold the office to which they are seeking if they are to appear on the ballot”, Hunt added.
Trump has shone a light on Cruz’s Canadian birth in recent days, claiming that Cruz would have a “problem” if he were to become the Republican nominee.
Mary Brigid McManamon, professor at Widener University’s Delaware Law School, said that Cruz “is not a natural-born citizen and therefore is not eligible to be president or vice president of the United States.” “The word “natural” might be taken to require birth in the US; in the 18th Century, natural was often opposed to “provided by statute” – suggesting that to serve as president, you must have been born in the country, rather than being recognized as a citizen through an act of Congress. But a natural-born citizen might be someone who just is a citizen at the moment of birth, as Cruz plainly was (through the citizenship of his mother)”.
“I love Donald but it’s getting a little boring”, the man said. “You don’t want to be running and have that kind of thing over your head”.
Like Trump, first-term Senator Cruz has sought to portray himself as a Washington outsider railing against the establishment. And, once again, Cruz won with 48 percent, followed by Rand Paul finished with 30 percent, and Donald Trump at 20 percent.
There was a time when Scott Walker would have easily won the “Most Disappointing Flame-Out” award for this Republican primary, simply because of how quickly he was forced to exit.
“‘I saved you, ‘ cried that woman”.
He tweeted an image of the Public Policy Polling results late Tuesday, saying “Thank you!” But 24% said it makes them less likely to vote for Cruz.
In a new poll released Monday, Quinnipiac University identified the same two Republican front-runners among Iowa likely Republican Caucus participants.
“Well, I do think the most important determination that the voters are making is who is prepared to be commander in chief, who has the knowledge, who has the experience, who has the judgment and clarity of vision and strength and resolve to keep this country safe”.

McCain told KFYI it is “worth looking into” whether Cruz is eligible to run for president.
