Cruz Says Trump May Be ‘Unstoppable’ With Big Super Tuesday Wins
In the Democratic race, meanwhile, Clinton leads Sanders in Georgia by 34 points among likely Democratic primary voters, 64 percent to 30 percent.

Sunday, John Kasich’s campaign will hold a rally at the MassMutual Center at 3 PM. Since 2000, the number of states voting on Super Tuesday has ranged from a lowly 10 to a high of 24.
With a strong showing on Super Tuesday, Trump could begin to pull away from his rivals in the all-important delegate count. Seated at a long boardroom table at the Willard Hotel, he erupted in frustration over the state of the 2016 race, saying Mr. Trump’s nomination would deeply wound the Republican Party. “How many delegates do you have?”
How confident is Trump that he’ll be able to pull it off? We should be getting results Tuesday night from all of those states except for the Republican votes in Wyoming and Colorado, according to NPR, as their votes won’t be done yet.
These Republican governors provided mostly non-answers on whether they’ll back Trump if he’s nominated. Marco Rubio, Texas Sen.
Rubio has campaigned since Friday as if the Republican campaign has already settled into that two-man contest. Cruz and Trump divide the vote of the 40% of Republican primary voters who say they are “born-again”, while Trump is well ahead of those who do not.
As accusations of dishonesty have flown between Trump, Cruz and Rubio, voters say they are more apt to see Trump as honest and trustworthy.
But now it spells trouble for Rubio.
Rubio tells CBS’ “Face the Nation” that if Trump wins the nomination, “it will split us and splinter us in a way that we may never be able to recover and the Democrats will be joyful about it”.
Beyond Super Tuesday, many say Rubio’s home state of Florida is a must-win for the junior senator.
With less states in the mix this year and southern states dominating the spread, Super Tuesday is simply less likely to stir up this same type of shakeup. “With the sole exception of Virginia, all the states he’s touching down in have hybrid formulas”.
Of the 11 states voting on Tuesday, Kasich has recently campaigned in only five: Virginia, Massachusetts, Vermont, Tennessee and Georgia.
“If any of these people can’t win their own states, they probably ought to get out”, the OH governor said.
The Democratic race appeared to shift in favor of Hillary Clinton following a major victory in the SC primary.
MA will be a tight state for Clinton and Sanders, where the gap between them in the polls is small.
Kansas Gov. Sam Brownback put it this way: “I’ll support the Republican nominee over Bernie Sanders or Hillary Clinton”.

But Clinton’s dominant performance on Saturday among black voters means the best case for the Vermont senator may not just be to win in those states.
