The endorsement “will play well” with voters, Huckabee told Kelly, “but Donald Trump gets to go out and say, ‘I got Bobby Knight'”.

Pence had positive things to say about Cruz, no doubt: He said Cruz has dedicated his career to former President Ronald Reagan’s agenda, as high praise as any for a Reagan fan like Cruz; and Pence highlighted Cruz’s willingness to buck Republican leadership.
At his Indianapolis campaign stop Friday, Cruz praised Pence.
“I’m grateful for his voice in the national debate”, Pence said of Trump, adding, “I’m not against anybody, but I will be voting for Ted Cruz in the upcoming Republican primary”. He has won a majority of the delegates allocated so far.
Pence, who was widely ackowledged to have eyed a 2016 presidential campaign of his own, has publicly lauded Christie for his work as chairman of the Republican Governors Association.
