Cruz: Trump supporters are ‘low-information’ voters
In a crowded field for the Republican nomination for president, Donald Trump continued to stay at the front of the pack.

“Not only is MI the gateway to the rest of the industrial Midwest, the results there show that we are a national campaign”, Sanders said in a statement following the MI victory.
Three candidates are on the ballot: Scott Copeland and Patrick Ockander, both of Texas, and J.R. Myers of Arkansas.
Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton leads the Democrats’ contest while billionaire Donald Trump is ahead in the Republicans’ race.
“Given the accusations about Trump, that he’s a racist, that he drives away minority voters, if he were to win a caucus in a state as diverse as Hawaii, he might be able to say, ‘Look, I can attract voters that aren’t white, ‘” Moore said. Bernie Sanders is to win any diverse state, MI would seem to be his best bet.
That’s how many delegates a candidate needs to secure the nomination – and as of Friday, Donald Trump was more than a quarter of the way to hitting that number.
Word is Trump is now planning to dedicate more resources to the area, namely kicking off an advertising blitz across the state.
Asserting that he is a Republican unifier, he urged the party establishment to embrace his movement and the massive support that he is getting.
On Wednesday, Cruz repeated his calls for Rubio and Kasich to get out of the race so the anybody-but-Trump factions can coalesce behind him.
But Mr Sanders has struggled to win the support of black voters who are crucial to Democrats in the general election.
Trump, Rubio, Ted Cruz and Kasich will face off in the event hosted by CNN, Salem Media Group, the Washington Times and the Republican National Committee beginning at 8:30 p.m. EST at the University of Miami.
The delegate math highlights the importance of primaries in states like OH and Florida, which allocate all of their delegates to the victor.
In his victory-speech-cum-press conference, the New Yorker said his rivals – Cruz, Rubio and Kasich – have not done well. He isn’t in the running whatsoever in OH, where Kasich is nipping at Trump’s heels.

That email from Cruz volunteers said, “According to multiple news sources, Marco Rubio’s advisers are telling him to drop out of the presidential race before losing his home state of Florida in a few days’ time”. Meanwhile, U.S. Sen. Marco Rubio of Florida, who won in Puerto Rico on Sunday, is lagging badly in fourth.
