Cruz vows to ‘completely destroy’ Islamic terrorists: ‘We’ll carpet-bomb them
Many of Trump’s supporters have not voted in previous presidential contests, and a hoarse Trump said a strong showing was essential for his campaign – and turning out is everything.

Besides political outsiders Trump and Carson, Texas Sen. Sens. Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz are in a second tier of candidates, considered to have a good shot at the nomination if Trump and Carson fade in the primaries. Jeb Bush, the former governor of Florida, only got six percent and it marks his lowest voting percentage since the start of the presidential poll two years ago.
Cruz (up 12 points) and Trump (up 9 points) are the greatest beneficiaries of those declines. Another intriguing finding, this one from a poll by the Public Religion Research Institute: Republicans are more pessimistic than Democrats.
Last month, Trump had 24 per cent, with 23 per cent for Carson. Cook suggested that many conservatives “are working through various stages of alienation and anger that is manifesting itself for now in support for Trump and Carson”, a process he likened to the five stages of grief described by psychiatrist Elisabeth Kubler-Ross; once they’re done, he suggested, many may opt for a less angry candidate.
Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump on Thursday invoked a series of stereotypes about Jews that are often deemed offensive and even anti-Semitic – in an address to Jewish Republicans. But, the new poll found Trump with his widest lead and broadest support in any national telephone poll since June, when Trump announced his candidacy. “Poll numbers go up and down, they have been since the beginning and they will continue to do so….”
‘Trump will probably sell mints, ‘ they then added.
“We need a president who will stand unapologetically with the nation of Israel”, declared Ted Cruz. Neither won the nomination.
Trump first compared the two conditions on CNN and repeated them to a 1,500-person crowd at Iowa Central Community College: “I said that if you’re a child molester, a sick puppy, a child molester, there’s no cure for that – there’s only one cure and we don’t want to talk about that cure, that’s the ultimate cure”.
Raleigh, NC (CNN)Donald Trump won’t say what he would do to terrorists in this country because it would get him in “trouble”.
The poll was conducted before the shootings in San Bernardino, California, on Wednesday, carried out by a man reported to have been radicalized and his wife. Chatting with reporters before a candidate forum in Cedar Rapids, Cruz stated Republican voters are beginning to coalesce behind his candidacy. Clearly this is an uncomfortable thought for many on the right. They can’t be vetted as other GOP voters might by asking if they have voted in past primaries. Still, even among Trump’s supporters, most say it wouldn’t be possible to deport all those living in the USA illegally (55%). For results among Republican and Republican-leaning voters, the margin of sampling error is plus or minus 4.5 percentage points.

Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton said she was also concerned, telling Iowans something should be done to strengthen the vetting of visa applicants.
