Crystal Palace have agreed a £32m fee with Liverpool for Christian Benteke, according to Sky sources.
A base £27M fee plus £5M in add-ons has be agreed.
Liverpool have reportedly accepted a bid from Crystal Palace for striker Christian Benteke.
Benteke arrived at Liverpool last summer from Aston Villa after the club triggered his £32.5M release clause.
Liverpool, who were keen to recoup their outlay on the Belgium global, rejected a £30m offer from the south London club earlier this week.
The deal will see Benteke become Palace’s club-record signing, surpassing the £13m they paid Newcastle for Andros Townsend earlier in the transfer window.
The Merseyside club are set to recoup the money spent on the Belgian, and are still left with Daniel Sturridge, Danny Ings, Sadio Mané, Roberto Firmino and Divock Origi in attack.
After a season in which Palace only scored 39 league goals and struggled to 15 place in the league they clearly need reinforcements up-front.
