Crystal Palace v Norwich City: Pardew confident despite 2016 woes
Crystal Palace boss Alan Pardew has called upon fans to get behind the team ahead of this weekend’s crunch Premier League clash with Norwich City.

Norwich’s win over Newcastle last Saturday put them just three points behind Palace, though the Eagles remain seven points clear of the bottom three.
It is not the best time to face Norwich either – they have won their last two games against West Brom and Newcastle United after picking up only two points from their previous 10.
“Crystal Palace manager Alan Pardew: “[We need to] get our crowd rip-roaring behind us, so we’re going to attack the game.
“There is a real determination from the group to get our league position healthier”.
He said: “Winning those next two games would take us to 37 points and that would take us very close to where we want to be”. But it is more hard to play a team who’ve won two games. But that happens with young players.
“We have always been in games we just needed to turn good performances into wins”.
Yohan Cabaye is also fit to return after missing last week, but Emmanuel Adebayor remains a doubt with a knock.
Norwich will be able to name an unchanged line-up which will help them as they look to continue their unbeaten run and move further away from the relegation zone.
Should Norwich better the result of Aston Villa, who host AFC Bournemouth, the bottom club’s relegation to the Championship for next season will be confirmed. “The team is in a really good place now in terms of the confidence and belief in what they are doing, and in each other as well”, Neil said at a press conference.
“We could come up with a win anywhere”.
It would have been typical Palace to throw everyone forward in search for a victor and concede on the break, but we held on and gave ourselves something to build on this weekend, as we welcome back one of the greatest players in our history.
“He’s got that knack of getting a goal out of nothing and it’s something we’ve missed this season”.

Norwich will have captain Russell Martin back in the squad.
