Earlier this year Crytek showed off a couple of tech demos, Back to Dinosaur Island 1 and 2, at various events, and the positive feedback the studio received encouraged the team to flesh this out into a full game. But, we knew very little about the game outside of the engine (CryEngine, obviously).
This was just one of the VR titles shown off by Sony, stick with us as OnlySP for more coverage of Paris Games Week! You’re not completely alone it seems though, as the trailer introduces a floating, robot who seems to be your guide. Crytek, the developer of Crysis and Ryse: Son of Rome has announced the new game that it will be developing. In other words, you’ll be able to look around and explore the planet in 360 degrees. The game will debut first on the PlayStation VR.
Robinson: The Journey invites players to become pioneers as they crash-land on a mysterious planet and set out to uncover the rich secrets it conceals.
