A photo posted to Dallas police Officer Patrick Zamarippa’s Twitter account February 25 showed the policeman in uniform, cheesing with his colleague and the “People v. O.J.” star.
“I cried today when I heard that.
I cried. That’s all I’ll say”, Gooding Jr. told TMZ in a new video, clasping his hands as he spoke.
Zamarripa’s heartbroken wife recently posted a moving tribute to the cop and Navy veteran online.
‘I finally found the love of my life and now have to endure a lifetime without my lobster’.
Patricio “Patrick” Zamarripa, a six-year Dallas Police Department veteran, served eight years in active duty with the U.S. Navy and another five years in the reserves.
Witt added: ‘He had an ability to make a joke about anything.
According to CNN, Zamarripa’s brother, Dustin, shared a photo on Twitter with the caption: “Love you brother”.
Zamarripa’s father, Rick, told The Washington Post: “He comes to the United States to protect people here”.

Zamarripa was known to be very proud of his service and incredibly patriotic, posting to his Twitter on July 4, just days before he died, “Happy Birthday to the greatest country on the face of this planet, my beloved America!” “Before he took my son, he took other officer’s lives, and their families”.
